Supporting the team in charge of the car dimensioning effort at Porsche, amplify designed and developed the tool to draft car metrics. Applying an agile development cycle, iterating scope and functionality since 2012, dimensions of all new PORSCHE car concepts are brought to life and maintained with this application.
Dimensional packaging backs the negotiation of compromises among stakeholders – designers, engineers, marketing and sales managers, business executives – yielding the best initial dimension design of a new automobile. PORSCHE considers a growing number of editions for a single platform shared with other brands in the VW trust.
